The interior is thoughtfully designed to reflect the essence of Bollywood with colorful decor and traditional Indian elements, creating a cozy environment for family dinners, romantic dates, or casual hangouts with friends. The restaurant is easy to spot and offers convenient parking, making it a hassle-free stop when you're craving flavorful Indian cuisine.

The menu at Bollywood Bistro is a true celebration of Indian food, blending traditional recipes with contemporary twists. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries or mild, creamy dishes, there’s something for everyone here. One standout feature of their menu is the diverse selection of tandoori dishes. For example, the tandoori chicken is perfectly charred, with just the right amount of smokiness, while retaining a tender juiciness that’s hard to beat. The dish is marinated in a blend of yogurt and spices, allowing it to absorb all the flavors before it’s grilled to perfection.

The naan bread at Bollywood Bistro deserves a mention of its own. Soft, fluffy, and slightly crispy on the edges, it pairs perfectly with any of the curries on the menu. From the rich, velvety butter chicken to the spicier vindaloo, the naan is the ideal accompaniment to scoop up every last bite. The restaurant also offers an impressive array of vegetarian options, from chana masala to baingan bharta, which are flavorful and satisfying even for those who don’t typically eat meat.

The drinks menu is also worth exploring. Bollywood Bistro offers a nice variety of lassis-both sweet and salty-that are refreshing and complement the spices in the dishes. For a more indulgent treat, try their mango lassi, which is thick, creamy, and perfectly balanced in flavor. There’s also a selection of traditional Indian teas, which can help you unwind after your meal.

The service at Bollywood Bistro is another reason to love this place. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to offer recommendations if you're unsure of what to order. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to cater to dietary preferences make the dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular, the team at Bollywood Bistro ensures that every guest feels welcome and cared for.

In terms of pricing, Bollywood Bistro offers excellent value for the quality of food you receive. While it’s not the cheapest Indian restaurant in the area, the portions are generous, and the ingredients are fresh. The prices reflect the effort that goes into preparing each dish, and you'll leave feeling satisfied without breaking the bank.

If you're looking for a great place to introduce yourself to Indian cuisine, Bollywood Bistro is the ideal destination. It’s a restaurant that brings together authentic flavors, a welcoming environment, and excellent service, making it a must-visit for anyone in or around Buffalo. Bollywood Bistro truly feels like a slice of home. The food is very authentic, and every curry I’ve tried has been consistently delicious. The prices are affordable and reasonable, especially for the quality and portions you get. The Chole Bhature is a must-try—absolutely spot on. They also have a great variety, from biryanis to samosas, so there’s something for everyone. The ambience makes the experience even better: nice music playing all the time and an amazing view of the UB pond at Baird Point, which is hard to beat. If you haven’t tried Bollywood Bistro yet, you definitely should. Highly recommended! ????????

Good value food. Enjoyed my wrap but could use more meat. Samosa crust is delicious but the filling wasn't enough potato for me

I love this place. I have been going here for years, ever since I was an undergrad student at UB. I still go here often even though I graduated in 2020. Couldn't recommend this place enough. It is also one of the most affordable places to eat on campus.

I’ve been a customer of Bollywood Bistro for two years now while I’m going to UB. Single handily the best food on campus, best flavor, best portion size for price, and best location to eat on Campus (has two big windows looking out at Lake LaSalle). The owner also pays attention to return customers, and knows my order by heart now. Lamb Biryani is my go to, Chicken Tikka Masala is delicious. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

It is my favorite place to eat on campus, price is perfect. The table near window is such a pretty place to sit and enjoy your meal. When the campus closed for pandemic, I must say I did miss this. Combo meal is great, you get to chose 2 curries and feels like a complete lunch.
